Watering and care after hydroseeding
Application is the start. Plan who will care for the new surface and how to share progress with Dig & Cut IKE.
Before the application team leaves
Confirm the watering plan for the chosen seed and site, who will carry it out and which care services are in the quotation. If another gardener or maintenance team is responsible, share the agreed instructions.
Monitor the surface
Moisture matters for young seedlings. Follow the site instructions and tell us about missed watering areas, pooling or displaced material. Watering frequency and duration depend on the site and conditions.
Use, mowing and subsequent work
First germination does not mean the area is ready for normal use. Discuss first mowing and subsequent care based on actual growth. Ask for guidance before changing the agreed care or applying additional products.
Check the surface, not only the timer
Follow the instructions agreed for your site. Check whether the surface dries between watering, especially at edges, exposed spots and beside paving. Standing water or water carrying material away needs review and adjustment. One watering duration does not suit every system.
Report a change early
Send overview and close-up photographs, the application date, when the issue appeared and how the area is watered. Discuss the cause before adding seed, fertiliser or other products. Reseeding and any visit are assessed against the quotation.
Keep a simple progress record
Photograph from the same viewpoints and note when watering changes or a concern appears. Images with dates and care details help us review progress. The colour of the application and the first shoots alone do not establish readiness for use.
